Levels
Recreational · Pre-competitive — Three tracks: Amateurs, “Millésime” Pre-professionals and Professionals. The pre-pro track opens at 11.
Variations
- Free — Amateur track, classical on demi-pointe or pointe · 8–25 years old
- Repertoire — Pre-professional and Professional tracks, but not at level 2 (ages 11-13) · 14–25 years old
Free variation in Amateur classical. Repertoire on pointe in Pre-Pro and Pro, except at level 2. An improvisation event is also offered.
Masterclasses. Offered as an option, €25 per class.
Jury. Not published. The rules say “universally recognised figures”. Marked out of 20: technique, execution, musicality, artistic quality.
What you can win. Bronze 14, silver 15, gold 16, unanimous gold 17, gold with commendation 18, Jury Grand Prix 19. Jury favourites, Prix Millésime, Choreography Prize.
Worth knowing. The best-documented French competition: its 2027 rulebook is already out, which no other has managed. Nearly 400 dancers from six countries in 2026.
