Levels
All levels — No separate recreational track: dancers progress by age and technical level. The Pre-Professional category only opens at 15.

- Free — Free non-repertoire variation, up to Supérieur · 7–16 years old
- Repertoire — Reserved for the Pre-Professional and Professional categories, so from age 15 · 15–24 years old
Set variation from Débutant to Supérieur, or a free non-repertoire piece. Repertoire is reserved for the Pre-Pro and Pro categories.
Masterclasses. Included for competitors from the Étude category upwards. €115 for non-competitors.
Jury. Not published. The rules only mention “leading figures” of classical ballet.
What you can win. Étude: gold €150, silver €120, bronze €80. City of Grasse Prize €400, Jury Prize €350, scholarships and course places.
Worth knowing. 39 editions. The masterclass included from the Étude category is unusual and worth the trip on its own.
