Levels
Recreational · Pre-competitive — Two levels set by training hours: Loisir up to 4 h a week for children, 6 h for Juniors, 8 h for teens — and Avancée above that. Avancée is compulsory for EAT holders.
Variations
- Free — Choreography created by the teacher or the dancer · 8–40 years old
- Repertoire — Allowed in classical ballet only, at every level · 8–40 years old
No repertoire pieces, except in classical ballet. Solo 2 minutes maximum.

Jury. Not published in full. Named for Marseille: Cosima Munoz, formerly Béjart Ballet Lausanne and Ballet Victor Ullate, now teaching at the École Nationale de Danse de Marseille.
What you can win. Excellence Gold, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Honour and Encouragement stars. Access to the Paris final.
Worth knowing. A very inclusive medal system: almost everyone leaves with something. Good for stage experience, not very discriminating.
